New Hope-Lambertville Bridge

The New Hope-Lambertville Bridge is more than a way across the Delaware. It is the easiest, cheapest, and best view in town, with New Hope's riverfront on one side and Lambertville's brick storefronts on the other.

Walk it in both directions if you can. Morning light favours the Pennsylvania side; late afternoon warms the Lambertville facades and turns the river into a broad strip of reflected sky.

A story
The current bridge is one of several crossings that have tied the two river towns together. Its pedestrian walkway makes the state line feel almost theatrical: Pennsylvania shops behind you, New Jersey antiques ahead, and the Delaware moving underfoot.
