Le Bec-Fin, Philadelphia's premiere fine dining restaurant, provided memorable dining experiences from 1970 until its closure in 2012. Chef and owner Georges Perrier created a restaurant that became a Philadelphia landmark and an international gastronomic destination — the sort of place that defined what fine dining meant in an American city for four decades.

The restaurant was a long-standing recipient of both the coveted Mobil Five Star and AAA's Five Diamond awards, and trained a generation of Philadelphia chefs who went on to shape the city's food scene. While Le Bec-Fin itself is no longer operating, its legacy endures in the many restaurants whose chefs learned their craft in its kitchen.
