Powelton Village is a leafy historic enclave on the edge of University City, roughly between 34th and 40th streets from Market to Haverford. Its streets are lined with porch-front houses, late-19th-century homes, and a few larger mansions.
The neighbourhood is worth a slow walk for its architecture and quieter residential feel, especially when paired with the nearby museums and university sights.
