Rocky Point State Park is Warwick's best piece of public shoreline. The old amusement park has been cleared away, leaving lawns, walking paths, bay views, and a faintly nostalgic feeling that Rhode Islanders still talk about with surprising emotion.
Come for a low-key walk rather than a packed attraction. The views over Narragansett Bay are wide, the breezes are good, and the park is especially useful if you want coastal air without driving all the way to Newport or Narragansett.
