Peaches Corner on Ocean Boulevard is a Myrtle Beach institution that has been serving hot dogs from a narrow counter restaurant since 1937. The menu is barely more elaborate than it was then: hot dogs, hamburgers, and simple sandwiches. The prices are still low by any standard, the service is quick, and the location on the main oceanfront strip makes it the most convenient quick meal on the boardwalk.
It is not a destination restaurant, but it is the kind of place that survives for ninety years because it does exactly what it promises and charges a fair price. The chili dog is the thing to order.
