Getting There

Aberdeen Regional Airport (ABR) has limited daily commuter flights to Denver via United Express and to Minneapolis via Delta — a useful option, but expensive given the short distances involved. The terminal is small and parking is free.

By car, Aberdeen sits at the junction of US-12 (east-west) and US-281 (north-south). The drive from Sioux Falls is about three hours south on I-29 and US-12; Bismarck, North Dakota is about three hours north on US-281; Minneapolis is about six hours east. There is no passenger rail service. Jefferson Lines runs intercity buses through Aberdeen connecting Minneapolis with Billings, Montana.
