Mirador de la Flor is the bayfront memorial to Selena, the Tejano singer whose death in 1995 still feels present in Corpus Christi. The bronze statue faces the water, with a white rose and a small display that draws fans from across Texas and far beyond.
It is not a large sight, but it is emotionally important. Come respectfully, linger a few minutes, and then walk the seawall to understand how central the bayfront is to the city.
