Yucca Theater

1920s Assyrian Revival theatre in downtown Midland.

The Yucca Theater is a striking 1920s landmark in downtown Midland, built in an Assyrian Revival style that stands out even in a city shaped more by oil offices than ornamental architecture. It is now home to Midland Community Theatre productions, including the long-running Summer Mummers.

You do not need a performance ticket to appreciate the exterior, but the building is most rewarding when you can see it in use.
