The downtown Plano station drops you directly into the historic district. The nearest major airports are Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW), about 30 minutes by car, and Dallas Love Field (DAL), roughly 25 minutes. Both have car rental and rideshare readily available. By car, Plano sits at the intersection of US-75 (Central Expressway) and the Dallas North Tollway.
