Heritage Farmstead Museum

Preserved 1891 Victorian farmstead on the Blackland Prairie

A preserved Victorian-era farmstead on the original Blackland Prairie, the Heritage Farmstead gives a real sense of what North Texas looked like before the suburbs arrived. The 1891 farmhouse is intact, the outbuildings functional, and the grounds are large enough to understand the scale of prairie farming. Guided tours run on weekends; the museum also hosts seasonal events tied to the agricultural calendar.
