The main entrance is at Springdale on Utah State Route 9. From Las Vegas, the drive is about two and a half to three hours via Interstate 15 and St. George. From Salt Lake City, allow roughly four and a half hours.
Most visitors need a car to reach the park region, but once you are in Springdale the town shuttle and park shuttle handle the main canyon during much of the year. Kolob Canyons has a separate entrance off Interstate 15 near Exit 40.
