Wildcat Canyon Trail

Quiet Kolob Terrace trail through pine forest and open Zion canyon country

Wildcat Canyon Trail gives Zion visitors a very different day from the main canyon shuttle stops. Starting from the Kolob Terrace Road, it runs through ponderosa pine, open meadows, and high canyon country, with links toward Northgate Peaks and the West Rim.

The trail is best in late spring, summer, and fall, when the high country is accessible. It is a strong choice if you want space, forest, and long views without joining the crush around Angels Landing or the Narrows.
