Woodstock sits on US Route 4 in east-central Vermont, about 15 miles west of White River Junction and Interstate 89. Rutland is about 30 miles west, and Killington is on the same road over the mountains.
Driving is easiest, especially if you plan to visit covered bridges, farms, or Quechee Gorge. Regional bus connections are limited and not designed around sightseeing.
