The Association for Research and Enlightenment is the Virginia Beach headquarters of the Edgar Cayce organization, with a metaphysical library, exhibits, lectures, and tours tied to Cayce's life and readings. It is a niche stop, but a deliberate one for visitors interested in American spiritualism, alternative health movements, or unusual local history.
