Bellevue Downtown Park

A 20-acre formal park in the heart of downtown, Bellevue Downtown Park offers a deliberate counterpoint to the surrounding office towers and shopping centres. The central feature is a wide reflecting pool and promenade — formal enough to feel designed but open enough to function as a genuine public lawn. A circular canal walk rings the outer edge of the park, and the canopy of mature trees makes it genuinely cool on summer afternoons.

The park is busiest on weekday lunch hours, when office workers spread across the grass, and during summer weekend events. It connects directly to the transit centre, making it an easy starting point for exploring downtown Bellevue on foot. The Children's Play Area at the south end draws families year-round.
