Treehouse Point

A handful of architecturally striking treehouse cabins set in old-growth-feeling forest above the Raging River, about ten minutes east of Issaquah just past Preston. The site doubles as a small inn and a destination for guided tours.

Public tours run on selected days and book up early; check the website. Staying overnight is the real way to experience the place — quiet, lantern-lit, with the sound of the river under the cabin floor. No televisions, no phones, no problem.

A story
Treehouse Point is the work of Pete Nelson, the host of Animal Planet's 'Treehouse Masters'. Each cabin is built around a living trunk on flexible bolt-fittings that allow the host tree to keep growing — a quietly clever bit of engineering hidden behind the storybook aesthetic.
