Getting There

Ocean Shores is about 120 miles southwest of Seattle by road — roughly two hours in normal traffic. Take I-5 south to Olympia, then Highway 8 west to Aberdeen and Highway 109 northwest along the coast to Ocean Shores. The drive is easy but the final stretch on US-101 and 109 through the Chehalis River valley can slow down on holiday weekends.

There is no rail service to Ocean Shores and no commercial air. Greyhound serves Aberdeen, about 25 miles to the southeast, and local taxi services cover the gap. Most visitors arrive by car.
