Lake Crescent is a long, deep glacial lake west of Port Angeles, famous for its clear blue water and steep forested slopes. It is one of the easiest Olympic stops to enjoy without a major hike.
Walk the lakeshore, rent a kayak in season, or use it as a base for nearby trails. The historic lodge area is particularly good in the quiet hours before day-trippers arrive.
