Sol Duc Valley

Sol Duc Valley is one of Olympic National Park's classic inland landscapes, with old-growth forest, the Sol Duc River, subalpine lakes, and access to trails leading toward the surrounding peaks.

In autumn, the Salmon Cascades overlook is a popular stop for watching coho salmon try to leap upstream. The valley also works as a base for Sol Duc Falls, the hot springs, and longer hikes into the High Divide area.
