Redmond is walkable around the Town Center and easily cyclable given the flat terrain and the Sammamish River Trail. The light rail stops at both Downtown Redmond and Marymoor Village, which covers the two main areas of interest. King County Metro buses connect the residential areas, though service is less frequent than on the rail line.
For visiting the Microsoft campus or the Overlake neighborhood, a car or rideshare is the most convenient option — the campus is spread over a large area and not well-served by walking distances from transit. Cycling from the Town Center to Marymoor Park is a pleasant 20-minute ride on the trail.
