Sammamish River Trail

The Sammamish River Trail is a 16-km paved multi-use trail running along the Sammamish River from Blyth Park in Bothell to Marymoor Park in Redmond, passing through Woodinville. It connects at its northern end to the Burke-Gilman Trail, which continues all the way into Seattle, creating one of the longest car-free corridors in the greater Seattle area.

Through Woodinville, the trail winds through riparian vegetation along the river, with views across the valley toward the winery-covered hills. It's a popular route for cyclists commuting between Seattle's eastern suburbs and the city, as well as recreational walkers and runners. A natural detour is a stop at one of the Warehouse District tasting rooms a short walk from the trail.
