Planet Word is an interactive museum devoted to language, literature, and how words work. The exhibits are hands-on and polished, making it one of the more family-friendly museum stops in central Washington.
It sits in the historic Franklin School building, close to Metro Center and the East End sights. Allow about two hours if you want to try the interactive exhibits properly.
