Sixth & I Synagogue is one of Washington's older synagogues and a distinctive historic building in the East End. Restored in the early 2000s, it now works both as an active religious space and as a venue for talks, music, and cultural events.
The building is worth noticing while exploring the area around Gallery Place and the National Building Museum, especially if an event opens the interior.
