Berkeley Springs State Park is the reason the town exists as a destination. The warm mineral water flows at a steady temperature, and the park gathers open spring pools, public taps, spa facilities, and the historic Roman Bath House into a few central blocks.
You do not need to book a full spa treatment to understand the place. Walk the park, put your feet in the water if the pools are open, and look at how tightly the town has grown around the springs.
