Getting There

Parkersburg sits at the junction of Interstate 77 and US 50, about 90 minutes north of Charleston and roughly the same south of Wheeling. Both are easy drives and most visitors arrive by car.

The nearest commercial airport is Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport (PKB) at Williamstown across the Ohio River, with a small daily service to Charlotte; Pittsburgh and Columbus are each about a two-hour drive and have far more flights. Greyhound runs intercity buses through Parkersburg on the Charleston–Pittsburgh corridor, with stops downtown.
