Sheboygan punches above its weight as a destination. The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is one of the most unusual art museums in the Midwest, the lakefront surfing scene is genuine, and Kohler-Andrae State Park just to the south is excellent sand dune country. Add the bratwurst and you have an unlikely but satisfying combination.
