Saratoga is small enough that the Hot Pool, the Wolf Hotel, and the main street are all within a few blocks of each other on foot. For anything beyond the town centre — the Snowy Range, river access points further afield, fishing stretches — you need a car.
Several fishing outfitters offer shuttles to river access points, which is useful if you are floating a stretch and need a car at the takeout. Otherwise, the town rewards a slow walk.
