Fishing Bridge Museum and Visitor Center

Fishing Bridge Museum and Visitor Center is one of Yellowstone's classic trailside museums, completed in 1931 and later recognised as a National Historic Landmark. Its rustic stone-and-log architecture became a model for park buildings across the United States.

The museum was designed for the age when visitors began touring Yellowstone by car rather than by guided stagecoach. Today it is worth a stop both for the exhibits and for the building itself, especially if you are exploring the lake area.
