Upper Geyser Basin has the densest concentration of geysers in Yellowstone, including Old Faithful and many smaller geothermal features. Boardwalks make the basin easy to explore, with geysers, hot springs, and steaming pools packed into a compact area.
Stay on the marked paths. The crust around the thermal features is thin, unstable, and dangerous.
