Taccu's selling point is length: they run twelve kilometres of the Río Atuel, which is the longest commercial rafting trip in San Rafael and takes around two hours on the water. Others run shorter stretches of the same river. There is a support vehicle following along the bank and they photograph the whole descent.
The Atuel at Valle Grande is grade II, which means splashy rather than frightening, and it suits families and first-timers. Prices are published and rise with each season.
