The bars on Avenida Córdoba and the main streets serve cold Quilmes on tap, local craft beers, and tropical cocktails made with maracuyá, mango, and whatever fruit is in season. The atmosphere is relaxed and sociable — backpackers comparing notes on the falls, tour groups unwinding, families finishing dinner late in the Argentine manner.
Popular with the evening crowd from around 7pm onward. The pace drops after 11pm and most places are quiet by midnight. Puerto Iguazú is an early-morning town and the bars know it.
