Museo Pueblo de Luis tells the human story behind Trelew: Welsh settlement, the Central Chubut Railway, and the valley communities that grew from an improbable colonial project in the Patagonian desert.
It is a small companion to Gaiman rather than a replacement for it. Visit before heading into the valley and the tea houses will feel less like a curiosity and more like part of a larger survival story.
