One of Bonito's most dramatic experiences: rappel 72 m into the mouth of a cave to reach an underground lake at the bottom. Stalactites rise from the lake floor and the light filtering down the shaft creates an otherworldly scene. SCUBA diving in the lake is possible for certified divers and is well worth the extra logistics. Spots are strictly limited — this is one activity to book well before you arrive.
