Itacaré nightlife is mostly low-key. Rua Pedro Longo and the lanes off it fill up after dinner with bars playing axé, forró, reggae, and the occasional MPB set. Most places stay open until the last customer leaves rather than to any fixed schedule.
A few specifics: the cafés along Pedro Longo serve excellent Bahian coffee and breakfasts of pão de queijo and fresh fruit juices from about 7 a.m.; the beachfront bars at Concha and Tiririca are good for a sunset drink with the surfers coming in off the last set; for live music, listen for the small forró bars that set up impromptu jams a few times a week, usually around the side streets off Pedro Longo.
