Morro do Moreno is Vila Velha's classic viewpoint, rising between the beaches, the bay, and the entrance to Vitória. The climb is short but steep enough to feel earned, and the summit opens onto a wide panorama of city, sea, bridges, and granite hills.
It is most rewarding in the cooler parts of the day, especially near sunset when the coastline and Convento da Penha stand out. Wear decent shoes and treat it as an urban hike rather than a paved lookout.
