The Imperial Bridge is a stone bridge from the late nineteenth century, built on the old Botucaraí route over Arroio Passa-Sete. It is modest, but its survival gives a clear glimpse of the roads and rural engineering of imperial Brazil.
Come for the setting as much as the masonry. The bridge sits well outside town, so it pairs naturally with a drive toward the hill and waterfall areas rather than a quick centre-city walk.
