Ararapira

Ararapira is the old village at the far eastern edge of Guaraqueçaba municipality, near the line with São Paulo. It is often described as a ghost town: a colonial-era settlement thinned by isolation, erosion, and changing routes along the coast.

The draw is atmosphere rather than monuments. Reaching it means entering the remote island-and-channel geography between Superagui and Ilha do Cardoso, where the map starts to feel porous.
