El Corsario is one of the better seafood restaurants in central Copiapó, drawing on the fresh fish and shellfish that comes in from Caldera and Bahía Inglesa daily. The centolla (king crab) when available and the corvina (Chilean sea bass) are the dishes to order. Lunchtimes are busy with a local business crowd; evenings are more relaxed. The décor nods to the nautical with fishing nets and model boats — a little kitschy but warmly done.
