Eating Out

Eating in Isla Negra means seafood. A handful of restaurants line the road above the beach, most of them serving the standard Chilean coastal repertoire: machas a la parmesana (razor clams baked with parmesan), congrio frito (fried conger eel), reineta, and the rich shellfish soup paila marina. Most are modest and family-run; few stay open late.
