Isla Negra is about 110 km from Santiago along the Ruta 68 and then the coastal Ruta del Sol. By car the trip takes around 90 minutes outside rush hour. Pullman Bus and Pullman Costa Central run regular services from Santiago's Terminal Alameda to El Quisco; from El Quisco you can take a local micro or a short taxi ride south to Isla Negra. Most visitors come on day trips combined with the pottery town of Pomaire and sometimes Valparaiso further north.
