Monkey Rockers was started in 2018 by a mother and her son and it shows in what they sell: not the two-hour tourist surf lesson but an after-school programme, family classes, camps, and "Mujeres al Agua", a women's surf programme. Surf, skate and rock climbing, singly or in groups, every day of the week.
They work out of the Alaia Hotel at Punta de Lobos, which puts them a few minutes' walk from the wave that made Pichilemu's name. If you are travelling with children and want them taught rather than entertained, this is the one to write to.
There is no phone number and no email address anywhere on their site. The only way in is the WhatsApp button, and the number behind it is the one on their SERNATUR registration.
