Punta de Lobos is the headland that made Pichilemu matter to surfers. The wave breaks left along a rocky point south of town, with cliffs and offshore rocks giving the place a more dramatic feel than the main beach.
Come to surf if you know what you are doing, or just to watch. On a big swell day the viewpoint is the best free show in town, with the Pacific rolling in hard and experienced surfers waiting far outside the rocks.
