Quillota sits on the Ruta 60 highway between Santiago and Valparaíso, about 120 km from the capital and 60 km from the coast. By bus, frequent services run from the Alameda terminal in Santiago; the journey takes about two hours. There are also direct buses from Valparaíso, a 45-minute ride.
El Boco Airport, a small general-aviation airstrip just north of the city, serves private and charter flights but has no scheduled commercial service. For anything other than a charter, you will fly into Santiago's Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport and travel overland from there.
