Correo Central is Santiago's historic central post office, standing beside Plaza de Armas in the heart of the old city. The building is worth noticing for its architecture alone, but it also contains a small postal museum.
Inside are old stamps, letters, mailboxes, and a model of the first central post office. It is a compact stop that pairs easily with the cathedral, the National History Museum, and the surrounding square.
