Two small museums on the same site: the childhood home of Edgar Negret (1920–2012), one of Colombia's most important 20th-century sculptors, and the adjoining Museo Iberoamericano de Arte Moderno (MIAMP). The combination is unexpected in a town this traditional and worth the visit.
Negret's bright industrial aluminium sculptures, all curving folded plates, are an arresting counterpoint to the white colonial streets outside. The MIAMP shows changing exhibitions of work by other Iberoamerican modernists. Modest admission.
