A 17th-century Dominican church with a richly carved stone façade and a single tall bell tower. The interior holds an ornate gilded altarpiece and several colonial-era processional figures used in Holy Week — including the heavy pasos depicting the Passion that are paraded through the streets each night of Semana Santa.
The church is also tied to the University of Cauca, which began life as the Dominican seminary attached here in the 17th century. Free entry; respectful dress required.
