Everyone in Salento goes to Cocora to look at the wax palms. Kasaguadua is the other thing: a privately owned patch of regenerating Andean forest in the Boquía valley, run as a conservation project with interpretive trails through it.
The flagship is a two-hour guided ecotour leaving the gate at ten in the morning, for a suggested fifty thousand pesos, booked the day before. There is also canyoning, a self-guided trail, and a Zen meditation practice that is either the point or beside it depending on why you came.
