Refugio Biologico Tati Yupi protects a remnant of Atlantic Forest near the Itaipu reservoir. It is one of the more accessible nature areas around Ciudad del Este, with space for picnics, camping, and quiet walks through restored forest.
The reserve works best as a low-key nature stop alongside an Itaipu Dam visit.
