There are no bars or cafés at Kuelap itself. The nearest options are in Tingo (very basic) or Chachapoyas, which has a decent selection of cafés, restaurants, and bars for a small Peruvian highland town. Most travellers base themselves in Chachapoyas and make Kuelap a day trip, which also puts them within reach of the town's social scene in the evening.
