The resort is compact enough to walk across in under 30 minutes, and the peninsula is easily covered on foot. In summer, beach bikes are rented at several points along the main strip and are useful for getting between Playa Mansa and Playa Brava, and for the ride toward Casapueblo at Punta Ballena. Taxis are plentiful and cheap by European or North American standards.
For Gorriti Island, small boats leave from the port throughout the day in summer; the crossing takes about 10 minutes. In winter this service is irregular.
Getting to and from Casapueblo (at Punta Ballena, about 8 km west on Route 10) is easiest by taxi or rental car; local buses cover the route but infrequently.
